Why add angel investments?

  • Minority ownership stakes in small businesses are some of the most common family investments both in the US and globally. Compare to Stock ownership, which hovers around 50% of US households.
  • Angel investments in tech are even more common, for those in tech

What will this look like in the future?

  • We'll need handling for basic loans (promissory notes) and equity stakes
  • Angel investments make a very good use case for manual entry, but in the future we could imagine API integrations with AngelList, Wefunder, Sydecar, and others to pull in data for folks using online platforms and syndicates.
